This Week’s Friday 5:
- We love this story — and hope to see it take hold elsewhere: Play and physical activity to become mandatory part of child care and nursery school curricula in Manitoba. Kudos to our northern neighbors!
- Check out the incredible new resource, Playopedia, from Childhood 101. So many great ideas — and more to come!
- Kudos to the Let’s Move campaign for launching the new child care and early childhood site.
- TV viewing and kids is a major issue in today’s society. Check out this article on just that from Child Trends.
- And last but certainly not least, the playful Jenny Kable shares what children learn in the sandpit.
